I love doing band photo shoots. The first band photo shoot I ever did was in Dayton, OH at least 10 years ago. It was my brother’s band Faded Me, however at the time I did the shoot, they were known as Ground Zero (someone wrote a cease and desist letter saying the name had already been taken.)
There’s a lot of energy and fun when you get friends together for a picture. I also love walking around downtown areas; there are so many different places to pose. The outside photos of Hark the Herons were taken around downtown Cambridge, Ontario; the inside shots were at the beautiful and modernized Cambridge Library. We took a break for lunch at the Golden Kiwi Pub & Grill- a place I would completely recommend if you’re passing through! Really yummy mango soup and great fish & chips!
Some great photographs just happen... but sometimes they need a little help! Jessica will not only photograph beautiful candid moments during your session or wedding, but will also direct and discover new ways to create a beautiful image. She presents a calming, fun atmosphere, allowing you to relax and enjoy your day. She works hard at finding your natural smiles and interaction. Jessica uses natural light to capture more natural portraits. She may use a flash or other light sources, but there is adventure in capturing just the right light in just the right moment.
