I had such a great time taking photographs of Josh and Laura. It was a beautiful night – but really sunny! I felt sorry for their sensitive eyes! But eventually the sun went down and created some great soft lighting. I hope you guys had fun driving around the golf cart! :) Thanks for not running me over…
I asked Laura a few questions about her engagement – here’s the story behind this beautiful couple:
How did you meet?
Josh and I grew up 4 miles apart. We attended the same elementary high school and even shared some of the same friends. We did not start dating until after college when his best friend (who is marrying my cousin) and my cousin set us up.
How did you become engaged?
Josh surprised me while we were golfing at Country Meadows [Venango, PA] on August 12, 2009. We were on the 5th hole and I was attempting to putt when he offered me something to help me out. I turned and he was down on one knee with the ring in his hand! :)

Jessica uses natural light to capture more natural portraits. She may use a flash or other light sources, but there is adventure in capturing just the right light in just the right moment.
