It was raining, and at one point it was definitely pouring! Despite the weather, we decided to go ahead and do the family photo shoot of Samantha, Taylor & Wyatt — It is a surprise for their mom! Their dad Brian, who also happens to be my cousin, watched the DVD Slideshow from Dave, Christina & Thea (Dave and Brian are twins) and thought a DVD Slideshow would be the perfect gift for his wife’s upcoming birthday. The storms rolled through and he called to see if we should still do the photo shoot. Well, I’m up for anything – rain or shine! (as long as it’s at least 32 degrees…. however I DID take some photos of Janell at 17 degrees…) Sometimes those circumstances make for a great story and as a result – great photographs!
Brian, Samantha, Taylor & Wyatt: I had so much fun with you guys! I loved running through the wet grass in my bare feet with you and capturing some really fun sibling interaction. I hope you can keep the birthday surprise a secret for just a little bit longer! (especially you, Wyatt!)

the weather in northwest PA is definitely not like Southern California… it’s so unpredictable! The kids were up for it – and I had a 70-200mm for a wedding I was doing that weekend… So I stayed on the covered porch and they ran out with the umbrella. Looks like they had fun too!
